All programs are open to any person who is 18 and older and no longer eligible to attend high school. There is no charge for any class at Alvord Adult School. 

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA 

The high school diploma program is an in-person program. Students are required to attend classes two nights a week. 

All course work is completed via an online curriculum platform. 

Students receive credit for work already completed once official transcripts are verified. 

Classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30pm – 7:30pm.

• English – 40 Credits
• Social Science – 30 Credits
• Mathematics – 20 Credits
• Science – 20 Credits
• Fine Arts/Foreign Language – 10 Credits
• Health – 5 Credits
• Electives – 55 Credits
